MetroPCS launches MetroPCS Unlimited Nationwide plan in more than 300 cities

MetroPCS (NYSE: PCS) announced a new unlimited nationwide calling plan in over 300 in the contiguous United States.

The new plan will be available starting from November 10th, and is included at no additional cost to MetroPCS’ current users with $45 and $50 service plans. Customers with “other qualified service plans” (whatever that means) can add it for additional $5 per month.

Commenting on the announcement, MetroPCS’ Roger Linquist said: “This offering is a major benefit and value to consumers. It takes our existing predictable, affordable wireless service platform and extends it to our customers nationwide. Our customers can now seamlessly use their MetroPCS wireless service while they travel throughout the expanded service area.”
