Yet another Vodafone BlackBerry Storm video spurs gushy reception

Yet another in a long line of UK BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Storm reviews has popped up, focusing namely on the 9500’s SurePress screen – easily the most characteristic feature of the upcoming smartphone. The reviewer liberally compares the Storm to the iPhone, primarily by highlighting cut and paste, camera flash and MMS functions on the BlackBerry. After having enjoyed the Cardo S-2 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones on my BlackBerry Bold, I would have thrown A2DP compatibility in there, but hey, why kick someone while they’re down? To be fair, the Storm’s OS 4.7 still doesn’t seem quite as smooth and polished as the iPhone’s experience. You’ll notice the browser takes awhile to boot up, and the orientation transitions lack any kind of spiffy animation. I guess that’s par for course; RIM is, after all, in the business mindset and one can hardly blame them for being spartan with extra bells and whistles.
