Rogers BlackBerry 8320 actually going for $50?

Hey, does anyone know Steve in marketing? Because he totally screwed up that front page flash ad for Rogers’ BlackBerry holiday promo. Yeah, the one from yesterday. The price for the Wi-Fi-enabled BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) 8320 is listed there as $99 and up, but a simple click-through to the online store reveals that it’s actually going for $49.99 with a three-year plan. Unless, of course, it’s site designer Jim-Bob who plugged the wrong price in, confusing it with the BlackBerry Pearl Flip, perhaps. One way or the other, someone’s fired.
