Great mobile campaign: Free condoms via SMS for Australian students

Here’s a great example of mobile technology in action. Students in Australia can get free condoms via SMS!

During the celebrations of Schoolies (a national month-long graduation festival celebrated by graduating 12th graders), a health care group Marie Stopes International has launched a campaign called “TXT 4 Free Condomz” to help youngsters get condoms for free, without embarrassment and any money spent.

Everyone who texts their name and address details to “19 SEXTXT” will get two free condoms. All they have to do afterwards is to find that special someone to actually use these two. Guess the next part of the campaign will involve some mobile dating service promotion. Sounds logical, doesn’t it?
