Again and again we see everyone and their mamas going iPhone. Latest in the queue is the New York City’s party and fashion photographer Patrick McMullan, who prepared what seems as the first iPhone-only lifestyle magazine called PMc (pronounced “Pee-Mick”).

The October issue of the bi-monthly magazine costs a buck ($0.99) and features over 400 McMullan’s photos, articles from Nicola Kraus, Dave Cook, Peg Samuel, Amanda Sterna and Malissa Mayers. In addition, there are interviews with supermodel Hana Soukupova and Vogue India’s Priya Tanna; new fashion from Charlotte Ronson, new sculpture from Diana Al Hadid; coverage of New York Fashion Week Spring 2009 and a whole lot more…

Is this beginning of a new trend, where we’ll see magazines specially designed for mobile devices? The print publishing business was in the recession long before the credit crunch. Devices with large screens like the iPhone may finally kill the print. Any thoughts?
