iPhone email: you could try this fix

apple logo iPhone email: you could try this fixSo on my longwards journey to try and Apple (NSDQ: AAPL)’s infamous device to handle email, I investigataed A LOT of solutions… this one I found sitting on the InterWeb – and certainly it managed to alleviate my problems to some extent.

With the kind permission of Jim Martin (Traveller 2.0) then, I reproduce the solution steps here:

  • On the iPhone, delete all e-mail accounts.
  • Reset the iPhone’s network settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings).
  • Disable Wi-Fi (some e-mail accounts don’t work properly if set up the first time with Wi-Fi in use, he explained).
  • On the iPhone, manually re-add the e-mail accounts. (When setting up my sbcglobal.net e-mail account, which is now an AT&T (NYSE: T) Yahoo service, I was advised to choose Yahoo as the service provider.)
  • Disable e-mail syncing with iTunes.

I think I’ve had some additional problems to a lot of people with the email client, however this might work for you.
