Brasil Telecom launches Mobile TV trial - full service coming soon

I don’t often post on happenings in Brazil, so this makes a nice change - Brasil Telecom has launched a trial of it’s Mobile TV service. The trial is only going to run in Porto Alegre, but the full service launch will come in December (and I would imagine encompass a geographical roll-out).
Channels will be lots of Turner-owned assets including CNN and Cartoon Network, plus channels such as MTV Brasil. The app (developed by M1nd Corporation) can apparently run on S60 devices, of which there are 10 Nokias in the current portfolio. After that, Java and Linux version are in development.
From the above, we’ve got to assume this is a 3G Unicast service, as opposed to something broadcast in nature (e.g. DVB-H, MediaFLO, etc). Nevertheless, 3G streaming does suit a need, and some of the channels on offer could do very well, if other Operators offerings are anything to go by.
