Myvu Crystal goes iPhone

Myvu Corporation has recently made its personal media viewer, Myvu Crystal, compatible with iPhone, bringing its video eyewear accessory closer to all the Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) handset users out there.

The trick is in the cable, which costs $24.95, and which will make Myvu Crystal sing along both the original iPhone and iPhone 3G.

Myvu Crystal includes a rechargeable battery, a USB charging cable and noise-cancelling earphones from Ultimate Ears. Available in black or amber, Myvu Crystal offers the highest resolution in the Myvu line (full VGA), the widest field-of-view and the truest DVD quality experience possible. It retails for $299.95 MSRP.

In addition to iPhone and iPhone 3G, Myvu Crystal is also compatible with all iPod with video models, other portable media players and mobile phones — including Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) Zune, Nokia (NYSE: NOK) N95 and select Samsung models — portable DVD players and various game consoles.
