If you were wowwed by DoCoMo pumping out 22 handsets in the next three months, LG is planning to put out 125 phones by the end of 2009, which works out to an average of two new phones every day worldwide. At first glance, that’s quite the clip to be releasing devices, but LG isn’t bothered.
“We have to work with different operators in different countries, we don’t think it’s a big number”, said Chang Ma, VP marketing LG mobile global.
25 of those releases are UK-bound, with 24 phones total already on the ‘09 roadmap. Now, every one of these isn’t likely to be as fancy as the Prada II, but LG will likely continue to push the high end, like they have with the KC910.

2 every day? howd u work that out?
I am hoping Sprint comes out with the LG Prada. I have it on my list
of things to purchase for next year,
Sprint seriously needs to get new phones from LG, something more like the enV & EnV2, I like the flip QWERTY better than the slides. I don’t really like the Lotus though… They should have given sprint something(again) more like an EnV. It would have made me & many of my friends, and other people wtih this carrier more happy.
