The HTC Touch Pro is fast becoming one of the most prolific Windows Mobile touchscreen smartphone to hit the global smartphone market in recent memory. The 2.8-inch VGA touchscreen display, 3G (EVDO Rev. A) connection, GPS, WiFi, 3.2 megapixel camera (autofocus with flash), and, of course, the slide-out QWERTY keyboard push the HTC Touch Pro towards the top of the Windows Mobile foodchain - no small feat in a smartphone ecosystem that’s becoming more and more competitive every day.
Sprint (NYSE: S) knows a hot trend when it sees one, and the touchscreen smartphone craze is as hot as it gets in the mobile world. The Sprint Touch Pro brings the best features of the HTC Touch Pro to Sprint’s CDMA network. It’s available now for about $300 when purchased with new two-year contract (after applying rebates and instant savings).
The video explains everything that’s good about the Sprint Touch Pro, so hit it up and feel free to leave a comment!

Did you test out the GPS receiver for accuracy?
A demo on the GPS navigation would be great. Also demo the corporate
email, calendar and contacts since it is designed for business.
How about a demo on the flash for the camera? Any insight into
after market batteries?
Nice overview, overall. Did you test the use of bluetooth with SprintTV, Music Player,
or other multimedia apps? There have been some issues with using bluetooth and SprintTV on
other devices, like the original Touch.
Also, you might want to consider scripting your presentation to eliminate the “uhs” and “uhms.”
Just a suggestion,
It is a nice phone and really very powerful. The BIGGEST concern is the battery life is really
bad. Literally only last 5-6 hours (and that is with WIFI, Bluetooth, etc turned off). So if
you get the phone buy a car charger you will need it.
I agree!!
I love the phone
The battery life really sucks..
I need to go and buy a car charger..
Nice overview, well done, and covered plenty.
Having used this phone for the past few days, I can say it’s everything you could want. I use it to browse the web, instant message (not text message), listen to or watch the nfl games, some live search to find restaurants, and a few other functions. It’s quick, smooth, and with the high res. screen a good experience.
As others above mentioned, if you’ve found a way to use the light by the camera as a flash please show it. All I can get it to do is light up as a flash light, not a synced camera flash.
Overall a great phone, I’m glad I got on it.
