Verizon BlackBerry Storm for $99!

The Verizon (NYSE: VZ) BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Storm is burning up the intertubes with haters and enthusiasts championing their position on the first BlackBerry handset to sport a touchscreen – a “SurePress” touchscreen, no less. With all the hype surrounding the BlackBerry Storm, Verizon is no doubt having a hard time keeping up with demand at the official $199 price point.
But, what if the BlackBerry Storm was priced at $99? Surely, the Storm would fly off proverbial shelves like canned foods on the eve of Y2K.
Online wireless retailer letstalk.com is offering the Verizon BlackBerry Storm at a deeply discounted $99. The $99 BlackBerry Storm requires a two-year contract on a minimum $69.99 rate plan, but if you’re in the market for a BlackBerry smartphone, you’re probably already going to pop for a $69.99 or more monthly wireless plan.
The BlackBerry Storm is listed on “backorder” status until Dec. 2, 2008, so you’ll be trading a couple weeks worth of Storm play-time for a $100 savings. Is it worth it? You decide.
Head on over to letstalk.com to get your hands on a $99 BlackBerry Storm!

Hey guys, I don’t really know what a “Blackberry Storm” is so if you guys could help me out a little. I would really appreciate that. Isn’t the Blackberry Storm some kind of berry twist smoothie or something?
Oh well.
