Just to chime in, after the 2.2 upgrade I can’t use 3G/EDGE/GPRS data randomly (about half the time). Safari says the server stopped responding, and Maps shows no map.

Wifi works fine…

with 2.2 i’ve encountered problems, with appstore, if an update for an app is there it will try to update but gets stuck on installing and never finishes, so i have to delete it in itunes, then reinstall the app.

Can’t bash it, yet. 2.2 seems to work really well, for me at least. I had some issues with 2.1 that were driving me up the wall, but they all seem to be fixed in this build.

The iPhone still has a fantastic amount of issues to be ironed out…

v2.2 seems to have made the email client a *bit* more stable, but it’s still very flaky with POP mail. For those with email issues, do settings > general > reset > reset network settings – this will temporarily fix it

Beware this course of action wipes your preferred WiFi list, and turns WiFi on. Doh. But you can can turn it off
