operamininstinct Sprint Instinct gets Opera Mini 4.2, too

If the T-Mobile G1 can have it, so can Sprint (NYSE: S) Instinct. I’m talking about Opera Mini, which is now available for the Sprint Instinct users and which is set to become one of their [Instinct users] most-used apps because of the simple fact that the pre-installed browser sucks. To be fair, the last firmware update actually improved the browser, but not too much as far as I can tell.

Anyway, in order to install Opera Mini, you’ll need to have your Instinct updated first (firmware version MR-4 is required). Afterwards, download couple of files, install them on your device and you’re ready to go.

More detailed instructions are available on Opera Software’s website. Good luck!
