Nokia (NYSE: NOK) has announced that their long-time awaited 5800 XpressMusic smartphone is now shipping in select markets, including Russia, Spain, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Finland, among others.

“Shipping” doesn’t mean you’ll be able to get it through your carrier, just yet, rather that means you’ll have an option to buy the device unlocked through Nokia’s sales channels. However, we are sure many of the world’s carriers will pick up the Tube in the near future.

In the meantime, if you happen grab the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic for yourself, we’re eager to hear your thoughts. Comments form is all yours…

  1. Jeff says:

I want the Tube , in Russia it be outsold in less then 30 minuts . Hope it will come to the rest of the world soon.
    The number one of cellphones.

  2. @Jeff – most of the countries don’t see it until January, unfortunately.
It seems that even India – which is mentioned in the press release – will only see it first week of January. Besides Russia (which actually started selling one week early) only Hong Kong went live so far.

Spain should start tomorrow, Taiwan is officially scheduled 6th December, but Finland is still unclear…
