FaceCall is useful speed dialer app for the iPhone

If you can make shortcuts out of web sites on your iPhone, why not allow the same feature for contacts? That’s exactly the point of the new app called FaceCall, which allows you to put faces of your contacts as icons on iPhone’s home screen(s). As a result, you can have your top contacts on the iPhone screen to dial them with a single tap.
Very useful, though, there is a single downside. Let’s say one of your top contacts which you want on the homescreen has multiple phone numbers. Once you set it for fast dial, there’s no indication on the screen which phone number you’re dialing — whether it’s home, mobile or work - it’s up to you to remember which phone number have you picked for each contact.
There’s also one other issue — not a problem, though. FaceCall uses Safari to make icons on the homescreen so it could access Wuonm’s server infrastructure (Wuonm is the developer behind the application), potentially exposing your personal information to the third party. I wouldn’t worry much about this, but I needed to inform you, nonetheless.
Anyway, I find FaceCall to be quite useful, hence justifying 3 bucks spent on it. And here’s the AppStore link.
