Sony Ericsson’s 2009 Walkman flagship phone’s specs revealed

When it comes to Sony Ericsson (NYSE: SNE) news and rumors, SEMC blog is the place to watch. Thanks to them, we know what kind of a Walkman beast the Swedish-Japanese handset maker is preparing as its flagship music phone for the next year.
Here are the specs:
- Slider form factor
- Compact metal housing
- 2.6-inch screen
- Wi-Fi
- 8.1 megapixel camera with auto-focus
- Camera features: face detection, photo-flash, QVGA (why not VGA?) video recording at 30 fps
- Walkman 4.0 software
- Standard 3.5mm audio jack (finally!)
- Stereo speakers
- Dedicated player keys
Sounds interesting, that’s for sure. We’re looking forward to the upcoming CES and Mobile World Congress when we’ll hopefully see this baby officially announced.
