Nokia Music Store hits United Arab Emirates

Nokia (NYSE: NOK) keeps expanding its online music stores around the world. This time, though, they’re going outside Europe, bringing its service to the Middle East, to United Arab Emirates.

As it’s the case with all other Nokia Music Stores opened elsewhere, the twelfth store globally is part of Nokia’s OVi offering, tightly integrated with Nokia NSeries handsets’ software. Again, main labels are on board (Universal, Sony BMG, Warner and EMI) and so are the Arab label Rotana and content aggregator Qanawat.

Feature wise, there’s a 30 second preview of all tracks and dynamic recommendations based on musical preferences. Additionally, there’s also a “Wishlist” for picking songs for later purchase as well as the “download history” feature that allows users to return to purchased content after some time.

Individual tracks cost 3 AED, while complete albums could be yours for 30 AED. The unlimited music PC streaming service is also an option which you could grab for 20 AED per month.
