For all of the BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) developers and IT admins, there is a free online seminar happening today (put on by RIM) from 9AM through 5PM EST. The keynote starts at 10AM and features Mike Kirkup, the Manager of Developer Relations over at RIM.

Official promo schpiel from RIM:

The BlackBerry® Technical Seminar is back this fall with breakthrough new sessions you won’t want to miss! Managing and extending applications to your mobile users, overcoming development hurdles; and leveraging mobile technology to create new opportunities for your business – if it’s about getting the most from your BlackBerry solution, you’ll find it at the BlackBerry Technical Seminar.

Sounds good to me… Eeeek! Looks like time is ticking on. If you’re interested in signing up you’d better head on over fast, as I think the seminar has already begun :) Find out more at the event website!

I just caught the keynote by Mike Kirkup. A lot of it is just following up from the BlackBerry Developer Conference, focusing on stuff like Google Gears, push for BIS customers, the new Application Storefront, and pimping out some of their new developer tools, like a video library and bug tracker.
