The curve series was easily rim's most popular phone before this point. After all the curve was the best selling smartphone in the u.s. in october. Now, I'm not sure if it was even scheduled to come out in '08 or whether they just couldn't get it carrier approved, but had it, I think rim would be singing a different tune.
