O2 Bluebook: keep your memories safe
By Ben Robinson on Thursday, December 4th, 2008 at 3:41 PM PST In O2, UK News
O2 (NYSE: TEF) have just kindly emailed me to remind me about their Bluebook service. From a customer’s point of view, it’s a handy way to back up things like their messages and contacts online – as O2 says:
Bluebook automatically saves all your text and picture messages. And you can upload your contacts and photos straight from your mobile. All on a password-protected web page.
To add your memories to Bluebook, visit o2.co.uk/bluebook and enter your username, iusemobile and your password.
Of course from a business point of view, it’s an excellent customer retention tool – why move networks if all yo’ stuff is on the network?
I’ve tried the service out and it seems to work very well, and to be fair to O2, it does look like they’ve spent some time getting the sync/copying of data to the network right. Of course, we love to hear reader comments, so feel free…..!
