TheCarrot is a new application for iPhone and iPod Touch that allows users to track their health, nutrition, and fitness information right from their shiny gadgets. Furthermore, the app also allows quick access to TheCarrot.com’s “useful life tracking site to help enhance a user’s well-being.”
In addition, the app helps users easily track such “things” as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, weight, cholesterol, running, swimming, and in that sense joins TheCarrot.com’s Web-based tracking service.
In a nutshell, TheCarrot.com iPhone app features include:
- Single app for comprehensive tracking of a multitude of health, nutrition, and fitness categories
- Easy-to-use interface for speedy data entry
- One-click integration of photos into tracking entries
Want it? It’s available for free from this link (iTunes).

Let’s hope this has the instrumentality to become a useful tool for weight management and tracking blood sugar levels. With diabetes now epidemic, it’s vital for people with elevated blood sugar to have tools that help with blood sugar control. By itself, diabetes is a significant health challenge. Its complications increase risks for many catastrophic health events. Gum disease, for example, makes it harder to reduce blood sugar and increases risks for heart disease, stroke, blindness . . . the list goes on. Fortunately, routine dental therapy can lower blood sugar and even reverse gum damage. We write about this extensively at http://densitryfordiabetics.com/blog.
