Recently, T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) UK has launched the Game Club to provide free, ad-supported mobile games to its customers.
The games are completely free to download (data charges included) but in order to play, users will have to view two full-screen ads before and after they complete playing the game.
Among the first games that are/will be available for download are such titles as Pokermillion Texas Hold’em The Masters, AMA IQ Booster, Pro Bowling, Pool Star and Einstein’s Brain Game.
As for the first advertisers, Paramount Pictures is among them, which will undoubtedly push promos for its movies to the mobile gamers.
Commenting on the new service, T-Mobile UK’s head of new proposition development Damien Byrne said: “The launch of ad-funded games further strengthens T-Mobile’s mobile gaming offering to consumers. We continue to make mobile gaming easier than ever before and a more enjoyable experience for our customers.”
