HTC hits record monthly profits

HTC has reported record monthly profits of $528.57 million, for the month of November. Apparently that’s just over a 10% increase on month, and over 22% on year!
What helped them achieve this? Well, the G1 (The T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) Android phone) and the Touch Diamond are the two contenders suggested to be the main drivers. The Diamond is one sleek handset, and certainly in the looks department, gives a certain other consumer smartphone a run for it’s money!
The G1, whilst not being a looker, is certainly a winner for HTC too, since the buzz around Google (NSDQ: GOOG)’s first has been HUGE.
