It seems Nokia DOES want to take advantage of the Christmas shopping rush in the United States. According to Symbian Guru, the Finnish giant’s Flagship Stores will start selling the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic for $350. That’s unsubsidized price, without any contracts signed!
Apparently, the Chicago store will be the first one to get the highly anticipated all-touchscreen smartphone, but we’re guessing New Yorkers won’t have to wait for long as well.
On the downside, though, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic we’re talking about here lacks proper 3G frequencies, meaning you won’t be able to take advantage of HSDPA on AT&T’s network. Seems like this one’s designed for tourists in the States or for those who don’t care about 3G…
