I’m not sure why it took so long for Wikipedia to optimize its website for mobile devices, but what the heck – it’s here now and we love it. Sure, there are bunch of other third-party apps that make Wikipedia render properly on mobile device, but this one comes right from the source. Note here that we’re NOT against third-party solutions — quite the contrary, there are few great apps on the market, especially for the iPhone.
Anyway, to access the world’s user-edited online encyclopedia from your mobile phone, simply point your browser to mobile.wikipedia.org and take it from there. The site is available in 14 languages and even has a “Spoken Wikipedia” setting, which at the moment doesn’t work, but when it start working it should read Wikipedia articles to you. Or so we think…

Dusan has been using smartphones since their introduction and is now following the latest trends in the industry. The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the next logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do.

The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application.
