T-Mobile UK Reduces G1 Pricing Yet Again

More Android news this morning, and this time it’s from the UK.
As if a free G1 device wasn’t enough, it seems as though UK customers are going to be getting a further break on T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) G1 plans for the holidays. T-Mobile has announced their first ever January sale that will reduce prices on the G1 from £35/month to £31.50/month. And yes, as I mentioned at the start… The G1 device itself is free in the UK. Lucky, lucky.
This is the second price reduction on G1 plans since the initial launch back in October. I would suspect that T-Mobile wants to keep pushing out as many of these devices as they can… With the knowledge that better, sleeker, sexier, more attractive Android-powered devices should flood the market in 2009.
T-Mobile UK will also have a few more devices available for free on select plans during the January sale. Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
