Nokia (NYSE: NOK) is gearing toward completing its Ovi service suite — or at least making it more integrated. Just recently, Share on Ovi has been added in the generic Nokia Account system. There’s a new section in the Account page called “Subscribed Services” from where users can select all the Nokia services they are using/want to use. Among them, we find Nokia Maps, Contacts, Calendar, Files, Share on Ovi, Friend View and Nokia Chat.

Some glitches were spotted, according to AllAboutSymbian’s Steve Litchfield, but we’re hoping the Finnish giant will complete integration of all its services in the near future, hence offering very compelling Mobile 2.0 experience to its users.

In the meantime, if you use Nokia Friend View, you may care to know that it has been updated. The version 0.83 awaits for download…

    Yeah, about this…

I think it would be a great idea for someone to cobble together a list of Ovi-compatible carriers around the globe.

I’ll start: Fido in Canada does NOT work — I’ve been waiting for my Ovi Sync activation SMS for months now…
