Will the Unofficial OS Updates Ever End? OS 4.6.0.217 Available for the BlackBerry Bold

Just when you thought the OS updates for 8xxx was enough for today, there is one more unofficial OS update I forgot to mention. This time around it’s for the BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Bold. A user over at CrackBerry had/has been delivering OS updates for the Bold… So I’m going to label that user as a ‘ninja’ right here and now. Just seems right.
At any rate he’s let my bud Kevin know of a new unofficial OS release for the Bold, this time it’s OS 4.6.0.217. From initial reports it seems as though installation and use of the new OS is silky smooth… But as always (and do I really need to say this!?) Install at your own risk people! Make sure you take all necessary precautions before you begin the OS update. If you’re on the fence as to whether you should install or not… My advice would be to wait for an actual ‘official’ OS update. My two cents.
If you’ve absolutely gotta have it, you can download OS 4.6.0.217 for the BlackBerry Bold via CrackBerry.
