Follow-up: Facebook iPhone App not stable!!

Following on from a post I wrote a couple of weeks back, I thought I’d re-look at what comments had been made – and wow – quite a few by the looks of things:
Dan Ward said: I wouldn’t necessarily ask if it’s not very stable, but rather if it’s stable at all.
Jim McCabe said: Sometimes it seems to completely lose its connection to the server. After that point, you need to restart the app.
Ed said: I’ve noticed the app to hang up quite often where it becomes unresponsive and has to be restarted.
Of course, to present a balanced view, Fonz said: I am happy with the app, it doesn’t cause any more problems than any other app i use
On balance though, I think it’s fair to say that many people have noticed issues with the App, from the unreliable date-stamping of posts, through to contact/messages disappearing as you scroll through them, to the App crashing.
As I mentioned before, it’s frustrating because it’s a very popular and otherwise well thought-out App. Can we have a fix please Facebook?

HA HA HA HA!!! I’ve been trying on the Facebook app page on Facebook since the first few days after the new version of the app was released and nothing. I think the developer is gone…
There was an update announced for early January in the Facebook App Discussion board. Just look at the application page in Facebook, there is a thread in the discussions.

It’s a free app; you get what you pay for. Get over it.
I know it’s a free app but it’s driving me crazy at how much it crashes! I”d be willing to pony up a few dollars for a better product that’s stable. Please Fix soooon!!!
Crashed on me constantly. I can’t even remember the last time I closed it on my own. I have to open it 8 or 9 times just to read status messages. Free isn’t an excuse to put out shit code.
Facebook 2.1 is now available and it seems to fix the instability issues
