SEGA launches free mini-portal gaming website

SEGA of America has launched a new gaming and social networking website, with a stack of free-play titles. It’s available to PC AND Mac users, and is called PlaySEGA.

Each game (of which there are a mix of new and recognised titles) allows users to collect PlaySEGA rings – which is the “currency” on the site. The rings can be traded to customise the site and create profile pages…

Check it out – there is also going to be a paid-for VIP section soon, where certain MegaDrive classics will be available – nicely! Any chance of Golden Axe? Howzabout Altered Beast?
