FriendMobilizer, Facebook client for Windows Mobile, gets an update

Some time ago we wrote about FriendMobilizer, Facebook client for Windows Mobile. Now we got a word that is has been updated, adding a slew of new features, as well as a new design to the mix.

Among the things that have been updated/changed, we find:

• New user interface with better main screen that allows users to show up to 25 best friends whose pictures will be displayed for easier access to their profile information. Statuses of these 25 friends are automatically retrieved every 30 minutes.
• Photo upload support
• Support for multiple languages
• Memory card installation (not sure why that’s needed)
• Notifications about upcoming birthdays, and much more.

Despite the new features added, FriendMobilizer managed to stay light-weight, resource-friendly and very fast. That being said, this release also has a garbage collection feature and improved photo caching to not only ensure speed, but further minimize storage usage as well.
