Free ‘iSteam’ App For iPhone and iPod Touch Will ‘Blow You Away’

iSteam is a brand-new free application that is generating some buzz these days. After having downloaded and played with it a bit, I’ve got to say… It gets two thumbs up.
To get started with iSteam… launch the app and you’ll be greeted with a welcome menu. Instructions are presented clear-as-day for you. Blow on your microphone to get more steam onto the screen, and shake your iPhone to clear it off. At any time you can double-tap the screen to get the welcome menu back.
After you blow up some steam, go ahead and use your finger to begin wiping it off. You’ll notice the app makes a ’squeeeeeking’ noise kind of like you’d get if you were doing it on a real window. Also, a nice little touch that Konstantinos Eleftheriou (of GreatApps) added in… is the droplets of condensation you get at the end of any finger swipe, just like you’d get in the real world. Tilt and move your iPhone to change the direction that the water droplet falls. Cool!
Learn more about iSteam at the official site, or download it for free via the App Store (iTunes Link Alert!).

Cool thank you for sharing this!!
This is a great app! Fantastic ready for leaving secret messages for Valentine’s Day!
iFog is WAY better. It is the original fog application for the iPhone. Why would you guys cover the copycats (isteam was published a week after iFog) and not the original prodcut? iFog is much more feature rich and realistic. Most importantly, it has the secret message mode where you write something on the screen and it only appears after you blow air at the mic!
ummm, just have a look at the date on iSteam youtube video and you ll realize iSteam is the ORIGINAL steam app out there, LOL barak
iSteam is definitely a cool app. I’m an iPhone Application Developer myself, but I must say I’m impressed.

I don’t know what Barak is talking about. I downloaded isteam a month ago when it was #1 Free US, how can the worst app be so popular? I think he is lying – maybe he is the developer of iFog.
Anyway 10 days ago I read Barak’s post and said OK, let’s give the unpopular app a shot … and there was no iFog in the AppStore. I don’t know what to say.
isteam is no more free!!!!! is that true?
