Orange to Give BlackBerry Bold the Boot?
By Simon Sage on Friday, January 2nd, 2009 at 3:58 PM PST In BlackBerry, Orange, Rumors
Reports are surfacing that due to irregularly high return rates and software glitches (such as dropped calls and unexplained restarts), Orange is on the verge of pulling the BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) 9000 from their lineup. The Storm I could understand, but the Bold? Really? I haven’t had a single problem with my Bold, and I’ve been packing it since launch day on Rogers (NYSE: RCI). Every carrier has their own quirks though, and for some reason repeated chances to fix them have failed. The Bold has been publicly available for almost 6 months now, so you would think all the bugs would have been smooshed but good, but maybe it’s for the best if this BlackBerry is a headache to customers. Have you guys had any problems with your Bolds?

Hi
I’m french and I have a Bold since lauch day in France on Orange.
I haven’t had any problems with the Bold.
I love this phone
I’ve had few SW problems, but mainly HW problems - very weak screen, and creaky back case.
Having said that Orange UK customise their handset software quite a bit, and complications always arise from that - having work for and with handset vendors before, the customisation bit is always the most painful!
nope, cause i carries an iphone - the phone of choice. Disclosure: Apple Share holder.
