I got a text message from someone not in my contacts. Instead of showing the number where it came from, it randomly used an e-mail address from my google inbox. Also, at times, it would use the very first contact I had listed as the text message sender, when in fact it was not. After a successful master reset the issue was resolved, but did return a month later. Another master reset and the phone is ok. The G1 definately has some quirks, but I still remind myself that it is a new operating system, released before it was truly tested, lacking in some basic features, but overall still new.
