Like we mentioned last night, LG has announced their 3G HSDPA, video conferencing watch phone today, model number LG-GD910, which is due for Europe this year. Just about as stylish as the Prada Link, isn’t it? The CEO was a little tenative to show off the features, since it’s still in prototype stages, as you might be able to tell from the fuzzy release date, but they’re saying it will have voice calling, text to speech, and stereo Bluetooth capabilities. As far as construction goes, it’s water resistant, 85 g, has three mechanical keys, and 61 x 39 x 13.9 mm.

While that was the big thing out of the LG press conference, they also talked about noise cancellation technology using dual microphones, as well as harping on the success of the Incite, Dare, Decoy, and Lotus. Green technology and expanding their mobile TV features were also on the agenda. Here are a few snaps from the event, including a live picture of the spiffy new watch phone.

    Nasty typo on that watchface.
    It’s spelled “Dialing”

    yikes.

  2. Adrian Eden says:

Kind of cool, but lacking in features, which would make sense for the size.

  3. John says:

Wow, I think this is finally coming to a stage where I’d be willing to wear one without fearing that I look like a super-nerd. Nice.

  4. Tony Leach says:

OK, sure – but can it tell time?

  5. Mark says:

Finally this phone is coming out …..can’t wait.

  6. ArkanoiD says:

John, what’s wrong with Cect w600 and w688?

@Ben: “Dialling” is correct in UK English. :P

  8. Courtney says:

LG is not selliing these until late this year.

I already have one that I got from 3gwatches.com

It’s actually a very practical device! It’s suitable to wear to the gym or to the office.
It’s COMPLETELY handsfree!! Which is the best part!

I paid $185 for mine, which is apparently really cheap, considering they can go for $1,400… Mine came with a bluetooth headset & also with stereo earphones as well. It has a built-in mp3 player, video, vibration, stylus pen, touch screen, caller id, and it takes suprisingly great pictures with the camera, o yea, and YES it DOES also tell time. lol.

    Hey Courtney,
How neat, I can’t believe u got one already! For so cheap? And with all those neat lil’ accessories? It’s got a camera on it and video, what!? No way Jose. U must be the coolest cat in town….

Well like I said, I can’t believe it, mostly cause of the fact that,
Ur a F___ing liar. I’m sure even if u worked for LG and helped make the phone, u still wouldn’t have it yet. It says prototype, which means, not complete, which means, no dumb blonde get’s it yet. K?
But ur still pretty neato in my book babe. Pshh….loser!

  10. BrOtHeR says:

zach….Courtney u have to relax baby…he said that he bought an watch phone by 3gwatches and not from LG. relax.

  11. Lancelot says:

I am extremely anxious to purchase this particular item.
Hope it comes to the USA in a timely manner.
Would like to be one of the first to own one.

  12. Daniele says:

Hey there, I recently purchased a watch phone on a trip to China with a lot of great features such as mp3/4, 1.3 mxp camera touch screen etc…one of the biggest issues was the battery (did not last a day….no even close). I hope the LG would be better because I will definitely get one if and when it gets out in the market here in the UK.
