Total Control: Video Camera Edition for the BlackBerry

Intelligent Designs Group has introduced the launch of their ‘Total Control’ suites of software. The suite I found to be particularly interesting was the BlackBerry video surveillance software. With it, you can view and control live video streams from supported IP cameras and video encoders. The cool thing about it is no 3rd party servers are needed, the app sets up a direct connection between your Berry and your camera hardware.

The BlackBerry Video Camera Edition is available as a one-time purchase (from $59.99 for the single camera version). No monthly or annual subscriptions needed… which is good for the small business looking to keep costs down. A free trial version is available, so if this interests you at all… Go ahead and check it out for yourself at TotalControlApp.com.

Note: Over 10 manufacturers and over 100 models of cameras are supported.

Thanks Robert!

    Dear Sir,

I am Effendy from PT.Ingen Technologies, Indonesia.
I am so interested to run video monitoring system via Blackberry device especially Blackberry bold edition.
We’re running security system provider at Jakarta Based, and I am wondering if DVR can be monitor also into the Blackberry device ? If yes, please explain the method.
For IP camera device , especially Sony brand , we have encoder device for analog camera, which is having 4 camera interface in one encoder. Please advise if the encoder can also link to the blackberry device.

Appriciate so much for your support.

    Regards,

    Effendy Tantoso
