UK: Mobile location-based price-comparison service launches

UK: The Daily Mail Online is reporting that a new mobile service is being launched that check prices for where you are based, and save you the hassle of trudging round and checking prices yourself.

It’s called GotYourPriceCheck - and simply, allow you to text details (to 60706) of what electrical item you want, plus your location - to which the service will reply wiht the best prices.

Of course, location-based services are nothing new, and neither are price-comparison services - but doing it from a mobile, and mashing the two services together? They just might have something here!

The service costs 35p/text, and currently is only available inside of the M25 - however, it should be rolling out across the country later this year.
