Reina Hardesty Takes Texting Addiction to a New Level

So you think you have a problem with texting? You ain’t got nothin’ on 13-year-old Californian Reina Hardesty… You could say she has a bit of a problem. She racked up an unbelievable 14,528 text messages in one month. That works out to 484 text messages per day… That’s one text message every two minutes (not counting time while asleep). Can you say ridiculous?
The father of the girl (Greg Hardesty) thought such a feat would be impossible. He realized this wasn’t the case when he received a 440 page statement from AT&T (NYSE: T). Good grief! Thankfully, Greg has an unlimited texting plan for Reina which runs $30/month. If this wasn’t the case, he’d be slapped with a bill for almost $3,000/mth for the 14,528 messages sent in her record-setting month.
Since news of this hit the papers, Hardesty and his ex-wife have placed restrictions on Reina’s cellphone use. No kidding!?
Note to Reina: Please, oh please when you start driving… Turn your device OFF. No driving and texting!

Your numbers are incorrect. December has 31 days not 30 so it comes down 468 a day.
