Nokia N79 Active bundles Polar heart monitor for health-fanatics

The Nokia N79 is a great media-centric handset that gives users the flexibility to create high-quality content with the 5 megapixel Carl Zeiss camera, while at the same time helping users consume media like music and videos. The Nokia (NYSE: NOK) N79 has apparently been popular enough with active-lifestyle enthusiasts to prompt Nokia to offer a sportier, special-edition Nokia N79 tailored to the needs of gym-going customers.
The Nokia N79 Active, as the new handset is called, comes bundled with a Polar Bluetooth WearLink heart monitor. The Polar Bluetooth WearLink heart rate monitor keeps tabs on your heart rate and gives you real-time feedback on the Nokia N79 Active’s display. The Nokia N79 Active retail package also includes sport headphones, and armband, and a 4GB microSD card to help jump-start your New Year’s Resolution.
Of course, the Nokia N79 Active features the same high-end features that we’ve come to appreciate in the Nokia N79. The 5 megapixel Carl Zeiss camera, GPS, FM radio, and 3G data connection ensure that the Nokia N79 Active is just as functional as its less health-minded counterpart.
We’re expecting to see the Nokia N79 Active go live later this year with a €375 ($490 USD) price tag.

there are a couple of neat details in this bundle. the heart rate belt is connected automatically and immediately by the app and the ear plugs come in three sizes, even if you have elefant ears, they don’t fall out so easily.
