Oldie but a goodie: Morse code outpaces texting!

Proving the power of viral video, I was sent a video the other day of an old Jay Leno show – where morse code sending was placed head-to-head against (speed) texting!Now you may have seen this video before, in which case you are not going to find this post very interesting – but, if you haven’t, read on!

So as I was saying, on a Jay Leno show, two people who could send and receive morse code were put up against a texter sending a message to his friend. Suffice to say the morse code gave the texters a sound whipping! In fact, the speed of morse is quite frightening!

If nothing else, this proves that sometimes the Older contingent of the population have still got it – either that or a nasty twitch in the hand
