GPS Mission is relatively new game for iPhone 3G owners (a built-in GPS receiver is required), which makes the whole world a player’s oyster. As you’ve probably figured out, we’re talking about location-based game here, which if you agree to jump on board, sees you solving various missions around the world.

There are a number of pre-set missions available, but you can also create your own mission or play some of the missions made by other players. No programming skills are required to design a mission – simply visit GPS Mission’s website and follow simple instructions provided.

Among the game’s cool features is the so called “Activity Stream” that lets you see where in the world other GPS Missions are being played at any given time whether it is a music quiz in Brazil, an athletic challenge in Taiwan or a photo safari going on in Australia. In addition, there’s an option to share your gaming experience with others, in real time, and not just within the GPS community, but also with all of your friends on Facebook. Finally, with “Waymark” function you can leave text and photo messages at any location, anywhere and anytime…

GPS Mission is available as a free download from AppStore (iTunes link).
