A glimpse at BlackBerry Visual Voicemail for BlackBerry Bold!

Remember when we told you that an upcoming BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) OS update would enable an Application Center and Visual Voicemail on your BlackBerry Bold? Well, it looks like AT&T (NYSE: T) is indeed making good on their promise to bring Visual Voicemail to the BlackBerry Bold. Newly leaked screenshots of the BlackBerry OS 4.6.0.219 confirm that AT&T’s upcoming software update for the BlackBerry Bold will in fact enable Visual Voicemail!
Boy Genius Report has managed to get their hands on the not-yet-released BlackBerry OS 4.6.0.219 and have been good enough to post screen-caps for BlackBerry Bold owners to swoon over. The BlackBerry Bold’s Visual Voicemail system uses an intuitive BlackBerry-esque UI that serves up visuals of who left a voicemail message and when they left the message.
No word on a release date for the BlackBerry OS 4.6.0.219, but we’re hearing that the OS update might go live sooner than you might expect. Fingers crossed…
