You might remember my post from a few days ago that noted the Android Marketplace would be coming to numerous European countries in the near future. All well and good, but with that in mind, one would have to assume the G1 (or heck, even now the G2?) would be arriving in those countries shortly… Right?

To get to the bottom of the matter, T-Mobile Chief Executive Hamid Akhavan has given us some tasty tidbits of into via a report at Reuters. In his statements, he noted that the G1 would be arriving in the following countries on the following dates:

  • January 30th: Netherlands, Czech Republic, Austria
  • February 2nd: Germany
  • Later in February: Poland

Android is coming… Android is coming! Congrats to the folks in the above countries, that is… if they’ve been wanting to get on an Android-powered device. If not… Heck, I’m sure the G2 will be coming down the pipe shortly? (might be wise to wait for the G2 anyways… take a look at it in comparison to the G1).
