Remember the BlackBerry Storm OS update I told you about early, early this morning? Well, to many I’m sure they assumed there would be not much in the way of improvements and usability. Think again. Looks like a big and more-than-handy feature has been included in this update that Storm users will eat up.

Thanks to the OS 4.7.0.90 update, when you rotate your BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Storm into portrait mode, you can ‘enable full keyboard’ which lets you take advantage of a full keyboard (of course) instead of banging out messages via SureType!

Totally handy, and ’sort of a big deal’ (to quote Anchorman). I’m sure there are more than a few Storm users that have been waiting for this functionality since launch.

Thanks Kevin!
