China Cracking Down on Mobile Porn

Mobile porn is a booming industry, but China’s anti-pornography laws are set to meet that growth head-on in their latest attacks against internet-based lasciviousness. A report from the Ministry of Public Security and other offices vowed to even “incorporate ‘lewd’ messages spread via mobile phones into the crackdown”. Yow, harsh. Does this mean you can’t send naughty texts to your girlfriend? Because that’s just wrong, no matter if you’re communist or otherwise. It’s a tough political landscape for companies to navigate over there and closes off a lot of great potential, but the few that can get through China’s diverse restrictions have an incredibly huge market available to them. Best of luck to those companies, and my pornless brothers abroad.
