Nokia recently announced that the Japanese market was pretty much a wrap for the handset maker’s mainstream brand. Nokia’s high-end Vertu brand, however, will be soldiering on in Japan with the launch of the Vertu MVNO and the Vertu flagship retail location in Ginzu, Japan. And, by the looks of it, the Vertu building is just about finished.

True to Vertu’s super-lux philosophy, the high-end handset maker’s Japanese flagship store oozes the kind of refined elegance worthy of the fleet of $30,000 handsets hiding within. Each floor of the Vertu store is apparently dedicated to just a single line in Vertu’s portfolio. That means you’ll be able to peruse the Vertu Ferrari lineup without being distracted by other Vertu Signature series or Ascent series handsets.

Of course, we’ll be doing little more than window-shopping in any Vertu retail store.

Lucky Japs can expect Vertu to grand-open the Ginzu store on February 19.
