Remember that old infomercial for ‘The Clapper‘ that helped us turn on and off all of our electrical appliances!? I’m sure you do. Well, now, thanks to the folks at Meme Incorporated, you can do something similar with your iPhone!
Called ‘The Snapper’, this simple photography app can be used to help trigger your iPhone’s camera shutter. The app is new to the App Store today, and already is doing very, very well. To use it, set your iPhone down where you want it, aim it to get the right picture you want to take, step back and put your arm around your family and friends… then clap your hands or make a loud noise to trigger the camera! There’s quite a few settings you can fool around with, and there’s even a double-clap setting that forces you to clap twice before the camera is triggered. Cool!
You can pick up The Snapper for $0.99 in the App Store (iTunes Link Alert). Worth every one of those 99 pennies.
