T-Mobile launches T-Mobile G1 in all US markets

The T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) G1 has been launched for all! The Android-powered smartphone brought to T-Mobile the honor of being the first wireless carrier to offer Google (NSDQ: GOOG)’s new mobile OS. Unfortunately for T-Mobile customers living with T-Mobile’s EDGE data speeds, the G1 has thus far only been available to customers covered by the carrier’s US 3G footprint. But, the days of limiting the T-Mobile G1 to 3G markets are now over. T-Mobile has just launched the T-Mobile G1 in all US markets, regardless of network coverage!
The T-Mobile G1 will be available to all T-Mo customers in your choice of Bronze, Black, or White. All T-Mobile retail stores should now (or very soon) have G1’s stocked and ready to go. The G1 currently sells for $179.99 when purchased with a new two-year contract.
Enjoy that Android-goodness!
