Provider of mobile and web-based unified communications solutions, CallWave, announced that FUZE Lite on the iPhone is now available for download from the AppStore, bringing “advanced mobile capabilities to traditional conferencing and online collaboration.”
From the CallWave’s release:
FUZE Lite on the iPhone provides users with a conference call bridge number for life, as well as conference call management and control directly from the phone, which includes visual indication of conference call attendees and the ability to mute callers. Integrated IM and presence enables users to connect with public IM networks such as AIM, MSN, Yahoo!, Google (NSDQ: GOOG) Talk, Cisco’s Jabber and Reuters in a secure, SSL-encrypted environment.
FUZE Lite on the iPhone seamlessly integrates with FUZE on the web. FUZE is a browser-based online meeting application which runs on Macs, PCs and Linux and is compatible with all major browsers. FUZE enables synchronized collaboration of high-definition video, images and documents, and includes markup and zoom controls as well as other important meeting features. In addition, the unique “Fetch” feature allows the host to connect attendees directly into the conference call, without the user having to type in access codes or PIN numbers. In the first quarter of 2009, FUZE on the iPhone will also incorporate application sharing, including the ability to share high-definition images and business applications such as Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) PowerPoint and Excel.
Those that attended this year’s Macworld in San Francisco had a chance to see FUZE in action on the Mac and iPhone, and now the rest of us can also try out what CNNMoney.com says is one of the top six business apps shown at Macworld…
