Sony Ericsson C903 Frances shows off its attractive backside

With its slim profile, capable feature-set, and slick lens cover, you’d have a hard time believing that the Sony Ericsson C903 “Frances” is supposed to be the Sony Ericsson (NYSE: SNE) C905’s down-range sibling. And, after today’s new look at the Sony Ericsson C903’s pretty little backside, Sony Ericsson has proven that lower-end handsets don’t necessarily have to have lower-end styling or performance.
Yesterday, we were fortunate enough to put eyes on the Sony Ericsson C903 Frances’s elegant front-face. Today, we’re graced with images of the C903’s rear. Remember the “active lens” feature we told you about? Take a look at the C903’s side-by-side comparo against a Sony digi-cam. That sliding active lens stays true to the Frances’s Cybershot roots, highlighting its photo-taking prowess. And, it looks darn good, too!
We expected the Sony Ericsson C903 to sport a 2.4-inch display, 5 megapixel Cybershot camera, and advanced shooting modes like PhotoFix, Face Detection, and Smile Shutter mode. This new look at the Frances confirms that flash is indeed in the cards – something we can only hope materializes as a Xenon flash at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
